Please join us for our lunch and learn to hear more about GUIDE's LGBTQIA+ CUP (Community United in Prevention) program that engages young adults (18-25) in the LGBTQIA+ community to address health disparities related to heavy and binge drinking. The program focuses on creating a safer culture around alcohol use through monthly virtual meetings and community action plans. This presentation will cover a brief history of Gwinnett United in Drug Education (GUIDE) and the LGBTQIA+ Alcohol Harm Reduction program that GUIDE runs. As many are aware, the LGBTQIA+ community of Georgia is a vibrant and diverse collection of people who are often underserved in our communities, especially regarding prevention.
