Jamie Bormann serves as the Executive Director of Crisis Line & Safe House of Central Georgia. With 19 years of experience at the organization, she has held various roles, including working with children at the shelter, supporting adults whose victimization led to DFCS involvement, and assisting victims as they navigate the Criminal Justice System. Jamie has also facilitated training for diverse groups, such as DFCS, law enforcement, advocates, prosecutors, and faith leaders.

She currently sits on the Board of the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence and previously chaired the Central Georgia Council on Family Violence. Additionally, she played an active role in a statewide task force focused on Domestic Violence Courts in Georgia. In October 2023, Governor Kemp appointed her to the Georgia Commission on Family Violence. Jamie co-authored an article in the American Bar Association’s Family Law Quarterly titled "Lessons from a Pandemic: The Georgia TPO Forum’s Recommendations for Strengthening Protections Against Domestic Violence."

In 2016, she received the In the Trenches Award from the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence, partly for her efforts to expand services for victims in rural Central Georgia. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Mercer University and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati.
