Jill Vanderhoek is director of the Community Partnership, the Family Connections collaborative for Macon-Bibb County which is the convening and collaborative organization of Macon. Community Partnership aims to bring partners together to work on important issues collaboratively to improve outcomes for families, children and communities. Vanderhoek also co-leads the Resilient Middle Georgia project, a multicounty initiative to help build a resilient and trauma informed community in various sectors across Middle Georgia. The focus of this work is to provide training and education on understanding the impact of trauma, adversity and adverse childhood experiences on individuals and communities and work towards systemic changes.
