Julie K. Miller joined the Georgia Family Connection Partnership staff in January 2019 as a regional manager for 14 counties in the Augusta area. In that capacity, she provides technical assistance to the Family Connection collaboratives in those counties around board governance, strategic planning, data and evaluation, partner engagement, program implementation and training. Prior to that, she served as the Family Connection Coordinator for Columbia County for 15 years, where she leveraged more than $10 million for programs and services. She has a master’s degree in public administration, a bachelor’s degree in journalism, and an associate degree in fine arts. She spent 18 years as a reporter and editor for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Julie is a certified trainer for Connections Matter, Stewards of Children, Bridges Out of Poverty and an equity facilitator for GAFCP and has served on several non-profit boards.
