Mission & Broad Goals
Resilient North Georgia aims to use evidence-based practices and program development to bolster efforts to keep children out of the foster system, prevent trauma, advocate for prevention, and foster a resilient North Georgia community by:

Targeting residential programming within Foster Care, Independent Living (ILP), Transitional Living (TLP), and Family Housing

Providing skill training, coaching, and therapeutic care with Healthy Families America (HFA), Positive Parenting Program (Triple P), and Functional Family Therapy (FFT)

Assessing ACEs and community health on the county-level

Reaching teens through a justice-based model that recognizes structural racism, utilizing prevention science

Increasing access to community supports like mental and behavioral health care in rural counties in North Georgia
