Resilient Georgia General Meeting | April 30, 2026 | 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Join Resilient Georgia for our April General Meeting as we highlight how the Community Resiliency Model is being implemented across diverse sectors and communities throughout Georgia. This special showcase will feature partners who are using CRM in real-world settings to strengthen resilience, support emotional well-being, and promote trauma-informed practices.
The session will begin with opening remarks and a brief overview of CRM by Elaine Miller-Karas from the Trauma Resource Institute, followed by presentations highlighting how resilience skills are being adapted for different populations across the state. Participants will hear examples of CRM being used to support first responders and law enforcement, youth involved in the juvenile justice system, life care specialists within healthcare systems, early childhood professionals, and Spanish-speaking and immigrant communities.
