August Lunch & Learn: Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education

We are excited to welcome Kathleen Da Silva, Regional Engagement Manager and Matt Smith, Director of Policy & Research, with The Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education (GPEE)!

This presentation will explore how the Georgia Partnership supports both state and community level leaders through four initiatives: the EdQuest Georgia Coalition, Regional Summits, Community Asset Mapping, and the Rural Learning Network. Matt and Kathleen will join us in providing specific examples of how these initiatives promote greater alignment between education and workforce strategies, while also emphasizing the impact of community, health, and environment in shaping success.

Kathleen joined GPEE in 2023, bringing a wealth of experience from both public education and the nonprofit sector. Her work has focused on developing and implementing programs that support families and communities.
