Please join Resilient Georgia for a virtual Lunch & Learn on Thursday, June 11 from 12:00–12:45 p.m. ET, featuring Whitney Griggs, Director of Health Policy with Georgians for a Healthy Future, and Sarah Phillips, Associate Director of the Rosalynn Carter Mental Health & Caregiver Program at The Carter Center.
Session:
Coalition partners across Georgia have expressed strong interest in better understanding Mental Health Parity and its implications for their work and the work of their partners. This topic feels especially timely given the systems-level and policy efforts many of our partners are currently engaged in across the state.
This session will provide an overview of mental health parity, what it means for behavioral health access in Georgia, and how coalitions and community partners can better understand and engage with these policy efforts.
