Asian American Pacific Islanders are less likely than other racial-ethnic groups to receive mental health treatment when it is necessary or simply beneficial. This may be due to unique cultural barriers and mental health stigma in the cultures of AAPI people. Thankfully, these organizations are working to make sure these individuals receive the care they deserve. By providing resource connection and advocacy, they are greatly strengthening resiliency for this population.
