Regional Coalition: Building a Region of Resilience NWGA
Mission & Broad Goals
Building a Region of Resilience Northwest Georgia (BRRNWGA) seeks to increase community awareness of the effects of trauma on children and communities, support positive youth development, and influence systems change by increasing awareness of the Strengthening Families framework. They accomplish this by:
Implementing Theory of Change through capacity building of coordinators and key collaborative partners to advocate for trauma/poverty-informed strategies
Utilizing evidence-based programs and practices to build upon systems change and to increase awareness of the Strengthening Families framework throughout the region
Evaluating services and programs to understand successes and determine the impact of approaches and sustainability of the coalition’s work
