Philip Gentry
Resilient Southwest Georgia (Albany)
Philip Gentry joined the United Way of Southwest Georgia in October 2021. He supports several special initiatives that contribute to United Way’s mission, vision, and annual goals and objectives. Prior to serving United Way, Gentry served as special programs manager with the Illinois Association of Community Action Agencies. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Alabama A&M University. He received a Master of Public Administration from the University of Illinois – Springfield, as well as a graduate certificate in community planning. He is currently working toward a Master in Health Administration through Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
