LaDonna Collins

LaDonna Collins, serves as executive director of the Rome Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth, a local nonprofit with 33 years of experience in being one of the most trusted organizations in the community that provides community resources in the likes of funding, information dissemination, creative thinking and community collaboration. Collins oversees the operations of an organization who seeks to see the Rome & Floyd County Community THRIVE. Over the past three years, she has led the Commission into new strides through organization rebranding and strategic modeling. She is now, with the help of the RFCCCY Board of Directors, spearheading major calculated shifts for transforming community collaboration from a functional focus to an enabler of innovation for the community. Previously, Collins served as the local director of a GED Program for 16 to 24-year-olds at Georgia Northwestern Technical College, a middle and high school teacher, a public health educator and emergency preparedness training coordinator and an afterschool director. She is founder and co-owner of Pinnacle Developmental Services, which provides her the opportunity to mentor and provide life coaching to youth from all walks of life. She holds a degree in health science from Columbus State University and is a certified health education specialist.
