Mission & Broad Goals
The Resilient Coastal Georgia coalition focuses its evidenced-based endeavors on targeted populations, including elementary-high school students and teachers/counselors in public school settings, behavioral health professionals, residents in recovery, and those seeking mental health counseling.

The coalition aims to improve the well-being of these populations in the three-county region through:

Engaging and leading the community to work collectively

Developing a strategic school-based collaborative model of a trauma-responsive team and trauma-informed and trauma sensitive out-of-school network

Providing regional trauma-informed capacity building and support for families, educators, and providers who serve them

Developing a robust and consistent model of response across behavioral health providers
