Alexandra English

Alex English joined the Vashti Center/Resilient Southwest Georgia team in August 2020. She graduated from Florida State University in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in hospitality and event Management. English worked in the hospitality industry for the next five years, however her interest in mental health awareness, child advocacy, and nonprofits, sparked a career change to Vashti. Since joining the team, English has served as the community training manager and trained as a facilitator for three professional development opportunities that Vashti offers to youth serving organizations and foster parents throughout Southwest Georgia. English also manages all internal staff training and development, social media, and annual fundraising events.
