April General Meeting
Resilient Georgia hosted its April General Meeting, Resilience in Action: Showcasing the Community Resiliency Model Across Georgia, on April 30 via Zoom. This interactive session highlighted how partners across the state are using the Community Resiliency Model (CRM) to support emotional well-being and build resilience in diverse settings, including schools, healthcare, juvenile justice, and community organizations. We were honored to welcome Elaine Miller-Karas, founder of the Trauma Resource Institute and developer of the Community Resiliency Model, who joined us for opening remarks and an overview of the model to provide additional context. Participants gained practical insights, heard real-world examples, and explored ways to incorporate resilience-building strategies into their own work and communities.
